Our B&B features one standard and two luxury double rooms plus a sumptuous suite all with modern shower/WC. Each room has a comfortable bed, luxurious linen and carefully selected furnishings. A generous continental breakfast is included in the room price. We also have a self-catering studio apartment with mezanine bedroom, kitchenette & shower/WC. All guest rooms apart from the standard room have air-conditioning. Wi-fi is available throughout the property.
Location
Set amidst peach orchards, with views of the foothills and distant ridges of Mount Canigou, Mas St. Joseph is a haven of peace. A delightful stroll or bike ride through the orchards takes you to the picturesque town of Ille-sur-Tet. A half-hour drive east takes you to Perpignan and lovely Mediterranean beaches, and to the west lie the majestic Pyrenees. With Cathar country to the north and Spain just an hour's drive south, the region abounds with things to see & do.
Our Property
Mas St. Joseph was built in 1790 as the living quarters for the adjacent monastery. The property retains much of its original character but has the added comfort of a beautiful Moroccan style courtyard/patio area with swimming pool, perfect for balmy evenings. There is also a summer kitchen, including barbecue and planxa available for guests' use. Breakfast is served either on the patio (weather permitting) or in the dining room. Vegetarian or vegan dinners are also available on request.
